All wheel buildings and products are covered by a legal warranty against hidden defects and conformity for 2 years from the date of purchase, with the exception of DUKE carbon rims, which are covered by a commercial warranty extended to 3 years.
Contrary to common practice, DUKE RACING WHEELS guarantees its wheels, regardless of the owner's rank. In this way, the seller of used wheels can transfer his warranty to the buyer (this is a selling point 😊). Wheels bought second-hand can therefore benefit from the warranty. In this case, the duration is always counted from the date of purchase by the first buyer.
To claim the warranty, the purchase invoice must be presented. Log in to your account (or create one if necessary) and go to the "After-sales and Returns" section to generate an After-sales/Returns request.
The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective parts.
Consumables and wearing parts (bearings, pawls, ratchets, rim bottoms, brake pads, rim brake tracks, valves, etc.) are not covered by the warranty.
Correct use and adherence to assembly, handling and maintenance instructions are required to benefit from the warranty. Damage resulting from a fall, accident, abnormal impact, sharp object or overpressure is not covered by the warranty.
Modified products are not covered by warranty.
The product replaced under warranty becomes the property of DUKE RACING WHEELS.
DUKE RACING WHEELS is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, but your legal rights remain unaffected.
The cost of returning a defective or damaged part to our company shall be borne by the customer, the cost of reshipment shall be borne by JPRACINGBIKE if the part is taken under warranty (Pick-up delivery), otherwise the cost of return shall be borne by the customer.
Some examples:
A rim will not be accepted under warranty if you are unable to pressurize the tire. This can sometimes be a tricky operation, but it does not mean that our product is at fault. Some tires work better than others.
If you damage a rim base with a screwdriver, an unsuitable tire iron or any other aggressive tool, the warranty will not be valid.
Using mini-pumps or over-tightening the valve body can damage the valve and rim tape by tearing. Foot pumps or compressors are preferable. In all cases, take care not to exceed the maximum pressure recommended by the valve manufacturer.
