The Baccara X 56 are carbon rims suitable for road, long distance road, Gravel Bike & competition use, Versatile on all types of roads and ways, its internal width is 23mm for a height of 56mm.
Available for disc brakes. SLR2 technology, weight reduced by 45g. This process also allows a better filtration of vibrations. The rim profile has been redesigned to improve its aerodynamics and stability in all wind conditions.
The outer width is increased to 29,4mm, has a new UV shape and reduces aerodynamic drag.
The wider 23mm hook width gives more volume to the tires and improves comfort and grip without losing performance. Recommended tire widths are 28mm to 53mm, tubeless or tubetype.
DUKE owns its manufacturing tools.

Rim offset increases lateral stiffness and wheel stability without adding weight. The rim holes are off-center, improving the spokes brace angles. By better balancing the tensions between the two spoke sides, the wheel's durability is enhanced.
We keep the hooks on all our gravel and road rims. As the pressures used are higher than in mountain bikes, the risk of the tire sliding off the rim is too high with hookless rims. What's more, for a given inside width, rims with hooks have a wider outer width than rims without hooks, which enhances the aerodynamics of the rim/tire assembly.
Thanks to the latest innovations and our research into composite material, we have been able to develop a unique process that maximizes compliance and absorbs vibrations. The result is an ultra-dynamic rim that filters out the imperfections of the terrain to be appreciated whatever the distance.
A wider rim provides greater comfort for the same tire cross-section, thanks to the greater volume of air in the tire. No need to inflate so much! The greater volume also enhances performance and grip. The bike's stability when cornering is also improved: a wider inner width reduces tire rolling under the rim under lateral loads. Using a wide rim improves comfort and control.
The outer shape of the rim is designed to optimize air flow around the rim and reduce turbulence. This helps to make the wheels more stable and faster. The rims can accommodate a wide range of tire widths, the rims are aerodynamically optimized for a narrower range.
